Safeguarding Children:

The Parish of Coolcappa & Kilcolman  values and encourages the participation of children in the life of the Church and is committed to best practice in protecting children from harm and abuse. All Clergy and Religious, staff and volunteers in the Parish accept and recognize their responsibilities to develop awareness of the issues which cause children harm. Safety and well-being of children is of paramount importance and the Parish is committed to compliance with the seven standards named in the National Board for Safeguarding Children Standards and Guidance Document.

We continue to keep abreast of training in relation to best practice and updated in relation to the most recent policy and procedures. We are subject to regular check and audit and operate in total cooperation with Safeguarding Representatives and Director of Safeguarding.
